In addition to managing the statutory financial and tax needs of his clients, Rav is very strongly focused on project-oriented consulting work with a special interest in business planning and development. Rav brings a commonsense, process oriented approach in assisting clients to develop their personal and business goals, and then developing a road map to get them there. He also has specific expertise in evaluating merger and acquisition opportunities and managing the transaction to completion including negotiation, due diligence and funding.

Rav obtained his Chartered Accountant designation in 1984 after graduating from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Mathematics in 1983. He obtained his Certified Financial Planner designation in 1999 and his Certified Public Accountant designation in 2002. Rav is a past Chair of the Board of Directors of the United Way of Peel Region, a past Member of the Board of Directors of the United Way of Canada and a past member of the Board of Directors of Nexus Youth Services.
