 Peter has a passion for helping people and organizations enhance their performance and effectiveness. His expertise enables him to assist his clients in planning and creating mission-critical change. Specific services include group facilitation, team building, training, strategic planning and developing organizational effectiveness.  Before joining the firm, Peter founded and led his own management consulting practice specializing in developing high-performance organizations. Peter is able to draw upon a career that spans over 25 years of business experience in sales and customer service management, construction management, administration, senior human resources management and consulting. He also has extensive community development experience.  Peter obtained an undergraduate degree in Environmental Studies (BES) at the University of Waterloo and an MBA from York University, specializing in Organizational Behaviour & Industrial Relations.  He is a member of the Canadian Association of Management Consultants (CAMC) and the Human Resources Professionals Association of Ontario (HRPAO). He serves as a director of HRPAO Durham Chapter. He received his designation as a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) in 1990. Peter is also an instructor with the Faculty of Business in the Continuing Education Division of Durham College.  Peter is married and has two sons. Favorite pastimes include fishing, golf and gardening. He finds that living and working in Durham Region has enabled him to have time for family and to be an active participant in his community. He is a Director of the Ajax-Pickering Board of Trade and is a member of the Rotary Club of Whitby Sunrise. Peter is an accomplished facilitator, and volunteers for the United Way in its Leadership Development Services.
